The Saving Grace of Jesus is No Illusion
September 29th, 2010
illusion [ɪˈluːʒən]n: a false appearance or deceptive impression of reality

Many of you saw my friend, Jaden Maxwell, at the Senior Adult Fair or at one of the Celebrate America at East Brainerd Elementary. You might also have seen him at one of the Moe’s Southwest Grills around town. He is an illusionist who does sleight-of-hand and card tricks making things appear and disappear right before your eyes; it’s really amazing (and a little freaky). The really cool thing is that he uses his gift to tell people about Christ. He has a ministry called “No Illusions Ministries” where he takes The Gospel on the road sharing the truths of Christ with others through his illusions on stage, in a park, or in the airport- wherever he comes into contact with people.
He is coming to our church on Sunday, October 10th at 6pm to do a show in the CLC. It is not only an entertainment event, it is an OUTREACH event. It is meant to share Christ with those who don’t know Him and normally wouldn’t come to a church to hear about him. It is for all ages, all people, all for Him. We hope that you will plan to be with us and plan to bring some friends as we try to pack out the gym and share Christ with others in a creative way!
