Here are some opportunities to plug in here at Ridgedale. If you don't see a place that interests you or fits your gifts talk to a minister. If we aren't already doing it, you can help get it started!

World Changers Support

It’s that time of year!  The annual World Changers Mission to the Chattanooga Area kicks off this Monday July 9, 2011.  There will be two to three hundred adults and young people working out of Brainerd Baptist church.  Our shower trailer among others is supporting that effort.  It is set up in one of the parking lots behind Brainerd Baptist off of Albemarle Ave.  We are seeking volunteers for daily cleaning.  Cleaning involves removing any loose trash, then wiping down and rinsing the 6 shower stalls, chairs and foot stools followed by mopping the two shower room floors.  One person can do it in an hour or less.  Cleaning days are Tuesday July 10 through Saturday July 14 and Tuesday July 17 through Saturday July 21 any time between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Call the Church office if you would like to help.

Every Sunday Morning at 9am we have a Sunday School Worship Service with the residents. They are no longer able to get out to their home churches and cherish this blessing. You can be a part of this by offering to help one Sunday a month, one Sunday a quarter, or just one Sunday when you feel led.

It last approximately 45 minutes and has teaching materials provided.

Each week there is an opportunity for a teacher and a song leader or a combination teacher/song leader.

In the upcoming Quarter, we have the following dates available:

August - 5th, 12th, and 19th

Are you a responsible HUMAN driver who loves kids and is here on Wednesday Nights and/or Sunday Mornings and would like to drive the youth from the church to the Summit in the church bus?

The other halfway is a little longer and little more specific but last time it wasn't and we got this:

The Youth Group are in need of someone to serve as a WebMaster for their WebSite. They currently have a great team serving them:

It's not that they're not doing great, they are, it's just that they're looking to move on to Pre-School and we're looking to downsize to one UpSized person.

GRASS CUTTERS WANTED!

We are looking for volunteers to help to help cut grass when this guys is not available.

If you like to mow or weedeat or cut hedges or use a leafblower or like to volunteer someone who does, please contact Kevin Featherston as soon as possible or call the church office and talk to Bill Lowery. We would love to have your help in upkeeping the wonderful grounds God has blessed us with!

Talk with your Sunday School Class and see if they would be interested in "Adopting a Spot" but hurry because these spots are going fast!

You don't even have to come yourself if you can talk someone else into doing it for you.
