Welcome to our new website! As you explore the site and get a feel for it’s usefulness to you, we would like to point out some things that you might feel helpful:
- Check out the “Updates” page. You will find that this will probably be the most utilized feature for our members and regular guests. This page will be updated regularly with the latest news and information for all of our ministries. Here you will find the church newsletter, registration forms for specific ministries, information about upcoming events, and more. You will also have the option to sign up and receive email updates one time a week that highlight everything that gets posted on this page from week to week.
- The “Updates” page will be tied to our “Ministries” pages. For updates that are specific to certain ministry, go to that ministry’s page and view the “updates column” that you will find on the right hand side of the page. There you will find the most recent updates that are relevant to that ministry.
- If you missed the previous Sunday’s sermon, you would want to visit our “Sermons” page. Sermons from each week of our sanctuary service and Encounter service will be found there. You can also direct friends to this page who may demonstrate an interest in possibly visiting our church.
- Another page which you might be interested in directing your friends to is the “I’m New” page. On this page, our guests will be able to find some of the most important information about our church – like where to go on a Sunday and what a Sunday morning is like. As people express interest to you about our church, you may want to direct them to this page.
Websites serve important functions in our society. They are one of the most primary methods people use to acquire information. With our new website, we want to be sure we can give them the information they are looking for in a way that is useful and meaningful for them. We also want it to be easier for our staff to update the site and make it more functional for guests and members alike.
Websites now often serve as the “first greeter” for an organization, business, or church. We want to be sure that ours accurately portrays what life is like at Ridgedale. As the site serves this function, please be prepared for visitors to be present in your Bible Study or worship service, and welcome them to our family at Ridgedale.
Thanks for visiting the new webpage. If you have any questions or comments, be sure to share those with us using the “Contact” tab. Otherwise, enjoy our new site!
