Beginning on Thursday morning Ridgdale hosted 500 teens for the FCA training breakfast. During the exuberant Worship time that followed the “Christian Chicken” (Chick-fil-a) breakfast, 14 teens began their journey as new disciples by following Christ as Savior and Lord of their lives. In addition, 49 others publicly recommitted their lives to follow Jesus and represent Him on their campuses.
That evening Student Minister Ryan and Emily McBride hosted a handful high school young men for an in home discipleship group.
Sunday morning the Student choir helped lead in worship under the direction of Michael Johnson.
Sunday evening 18 high school girls gathered at the McGinnis house for some discipleship and chocolate.
I’m thankful to be a part of a church that loves teenagers and provides opportunities for them to grow in Jesus.
