Before Blended Worship, on May 17th, Worshipers were asked to pull out their smart phones, turn on the flash light, and hold them up as a reminder to… “let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 (NIV) Then, they were encouraged to take a selfie with a nearby worshiper and pray for them to “let their light shine” in their world this week. Those without phone cameras were encouraged to pretend a selfie with someone and pray for that person. (In this selfie, Bible Study teacher Wylie Gross and yours truly.)
