Christ-Centered Parenting | Teacher: Ryan McBride | Wednesdays, 6:00 – 7:30 pm | College Room #213 | $10

This study is intended to equip parents to face challenges presented by culture. As the world around us continues to shift and become more secular, this study will help prepare you and your children to meet these moral and ethical challenges. This is an open class, but coming in on the front end August the 14th is preferred, and is great for new and old parents alike! This class will be lecture, video, and discussion based. Your child will be better equipped to face culture if you are there to shape and guide their thinking.  You can purchase the study guide HERE but it is not necessary to attend the class.

How to study & apply the Scriptures | Teacher: Helen Caldwell | Wednesdays, 6:00 – 7:30 pm | Library | FREE

This course is designed to empower women to better understand, enjoy, and engage God through his Word. Come acquire basic tools that can help you move from simply reading the Bible to understanding it for the purpose of life-transformation. This class is open to all women and a great time to fellowship and grow.

The Book of Signs | Teacher: Teresa Reagan | Wednesdays, 5:00 – 6:15 pm | Hospitality Room | $10

This study gives a thorough explanation of everything we are to be looking for in our time and to be prepared so that when it happens, we will not be taken by surprise.  Knowing the signs should not make us fearful, but it should make us yearn even more for Jesus’ coming and do all we can to lead others in the path of righteousness and point them to Christ–the only way to God and salvation. This study is open to all ladies and if you want a book please call the church office at 423-499-0994.

The Vision of His Glory | Teacher: Pat Bowers | Thursdays, 9:30am | Ridgedale Room | $10

This study begins with a workshop on how to read and study the Bible followed by a book study. With an inspiring sense of wonder and a focus on Jesus Christ, Anne Graham Lotz brings clarity and understanding to the book of Revelation. Lotz takes the reader step-by-step through John’s eyewitness account of God’s plan for our future, emphasizing our hope in Jesus rather than our fear of end times. This class is lecture, video, and discussion based and is open to all ladies.

Worldview and Witness in a Pluralistic society | Teacher: Bob Gerow | Wednesdays, 6:00 – 7:30 pm | Room 207 | FREE

This study is intended to help men strengthen their biblical-worldview as they lead their families. Worldviews work at multiple levels in each individual. Every person operates out of a basic set of convictions about reality, truth, meaning, and how the world works. Disagreements between individuals and groups on controversial issues can almost always be traced back to a fundamental difference in worldview, recognized or not. We want to help you build a healthy biblical worldview. This will be a “how to” for “regular people” trying to get from one day to the next. The class is lecture and discussion based and is open to all men of all ages.

Revelation | Teacher: Ken Mathews | 1st & 3rd Tuesdays, 9:00 – 10:00 am | Room 114 | FREE

This Bible study will walk verse by verse through the book of Revelation. This is an excellent time for men to grow closer in fellowship and their relationship with Christ. We also offer a breakfast at 8am (cost $5) that meets in the Ridgedale room.
