Ridgedale’s Kids Ministry exists to partner with parents and families to help kids encounter Christ, equip disciples, and engage the nations.
Our goal is to provide a dynamic environment where preschoolers and kids learn to become mature worshipers of God who make disciples.
We desire for kids of all ages to:
- Seek a relationship with Christ
- Grow in understanding of Him through His Word
- Develop a compassionate burden for the lost
- Become deeply devoted to prayer and service the body of Christ
Each week at Ridgedale, kids learn in a safe and secure environment with trained volunteers. They engage in energetic opportunities to learn more about their Savior in concrete ways that they can understand and share with others. Kids at Ridgedale encounter Christ in age appropriate small groups and worship styles in order to equip them to share Christ with their friends and community.
I’m New Here, How do I Check In?
- Make your way to the Lobby at the Main Entrance through the glass doors
- Head to the Kids Check In Desk to get your family ready for their time with our Children’s Ministry (our Hospitality Team can help you find your way there if you’re unsure about where to go)
- Meet with our Check In Staff to create your secure Check In Child Label, providing important information about your child(ren) that our volunteers may need to know to provide your child with a safe and fun experience
- Your child(ren) will be escorted to their class(es) and our leaders will stay to answer any questions you might have

Sundays
Each Sunday at Ridgedale Kids, preschoolers and kids learn and work through the foundational truths of who God is. All children are capable of learning the truths of God’s Word and the lessons found in Truth:78 curriculum will walk children through who God is and how they should respond to him.
Small Groups:
Small groups for preschoolers and kids meet together in age appropriate classrooms on Sunday mornings at 9:45a. This provides a unique environment for kids to engage in activities and lessons appropriate for their maturity and learning style. Small groups are designed to lead children deeper in Biblical truths as they learn about and apply the gospel in tangible ways in their life.
Preschool and Kids Worship:
Each Sunday at 11:00a, preschoolers and elementary kids (K-5th Grade) have worship classes designed specifically with their age groups in mind. Both Preschool and Kids Worship focus on worship and discipleship through engaging worship music and prayer, Biblical teaching, and missions.
Sunday Schedule:
- Small Groups (all ages) 9:45a
- Preschool Worship (3-4 year olds) 11a
- Kids’ Worship (K-3rd Grade) 11a
Preschool and Kids Sensory Room:
We believe that God wants all children to learn the truths of his Word regardless of age or ability, and strive for inclusion in all classrooms. At Ridgedale we offer a Multi-Age Sensory room during 9:45a small group time and the 11:00a worship service. It is available for preschool and elementary age children with special needs and children who might need to take a break from over stimulation in the worship service, kids, or preschool worship classes.
