Jesus is primary for me. After Him is my wife and family. I can’t do ministry without their support. I am grateful to God for my wife Emily as we co-labor in the Gospel together. I love being a husband, father, and pastor. In that order.
I came to Ridgedale as Student Pastor in March 2014 and transitioned to Discipleship and Missions Pastor in June 2018. Before coming to Ridgedale, I served churches in Tennessee and Kentucky and graduated from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville before earning my Masters of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.
I was raised in Kingsport, TN and The Hague, Holland. I spend my spare time with my kids playing basketball, baseball, American Girl Dolls, hanging out with my wife Emily, building with wood, and watching the Braves play baseball.
