We believe that God wants all children to learn the truths of his Word regardless of age or ability.
At Ridgedale we offer a Multi-Age Sensory room during the eleven o’clock worship service. It is available for preschool and elementary age children with special needs and children who might need to take a break from over stimulation in the worship service, kids, or preschool worship classes. The sensory room is blessed with volunteers who are equipped to care for and teach children with special needs. If you or someone you know is interested in this type of learning environment I would love to meet with you and answer any questions you might have.
The Multi-Age Sensory Room is a safe and welcoming place for children with special needs. It is located on the first floor close to our kids’ check in desk.
The texture wall offers a space for students to explore they way different textures look, feel, and sound.
This cozy corner offers space to decompress. With a low light option in the classroom, children can watch lights on the ceiling while using the weighted blanket.
This classroom is equipped with its own bathroom, sink and changing area.
