This year, Ridgedale Baptist and Mount Canaan Baptist are partnering up to serve the Chattanooga community around us through the distribution of food boxes. In this box will be potatoes, green beans, stuffing, dessert, and a Food City voucher for $25 (to purchase meat, butter, etc). All the items for your own Thanksgiving Meal! (Max of 2 boxes per car and 1 box per family) (Each box is enough to feed a family of 5)
We will have 200 boxes at each location, so come early! You can get them at Mount Canaan Baptist Church on Saturday, November 18 at 4pm and at Ridgedale Baptist Church on Sunday, November 19 at 3pm. Cars will line up in the parking lot and food will be directly loaded into the trunk.
For Volunteers:
We ask that you arrive at Ridgedale at 1:30p on November 19th to help pack and prepare boxes. At 3p we will begin distributing the boxes to each car. We will need teams packing boxes, distributing boxes, praying with cars, parking lot, and others. We are excited to see our church come together once again for this great outreach! There is no sign up for this event, so just show up ready to love and serve!
