There are opportunities for everyone to get involved this Easter season, to learn about and celebrate the grace that God has for His children – from kids to senior adults, and everyone in between!
Sunday mornings, we are walking through the book of John, where we follow Jesus’ life near the crucifixion and point out lessons we can learn from His example. Easter Events
Easter Food Box Distribution | Sunday, March 29 at 3p
Every year, Ridgedale serves Chattanooga families in need by preparing and distributing “food boxes” — which contain different food items to help recipients to have a family meal on Easter. Each box has shelf-stable foods, enough to feed a family of 5, as well as a $25 Food City gift card to purchase perishable items as needed.
This year Ridgedale and Mount Canaan Baptist Church are partnering together to better serve Chattanooga in this mission. Between both locations on March 29, we will distribute 400 food boxes, connecting with and praying for recipients as they wait. We are not just serving a physical need, but also offering food for their spirits.
You can help by volunteering to prepare and distribute boxes, pray with families, help in the parking lot, and by sponsoring a box. Each box costs $30, and giving towards this mission is a huge way to serve your community.
Passion Week Wednesday Worship | Wednesday, April 1 at 6p
Passion Week (or Holy Week) is the final seven days of Jesus’ life, beginning on Palm Sunday and ending on Holy Saturday, focusing on His journey to the cross. Ridgedale’s annual Passion Week Wednesday Worship is a thought-provoking evening where people come together to reflect on this period of Jesus’ life through scripture reading, a short teaching from Pastor Doug, music, and the taking of the Lord’s Supper. The service is free, family-friendly, and takes place in the Sanctuary starting at 6:00pm.
Easter Sunday at Ridgedale | Sunday, April 5 at 8:30a & 11a
We want you and your family to be a part of Easter Sunday at Ridgedale! This will be a time of teaching, worship, celebration, and community as we reflect together on Jesus’ love and grace for us.
There will not be Kids Worship at 11:00am, so families will have the opportunity to enjoy worship together. Praise Packs will be available for children during the services, and gifts to families from Ridgedale KidMin will be distributed as well.
